Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was born into the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father was a writer. Her mother, Romulus Linney, was a writer. Linney earned her bachelor's degree at Brown University, and then continued to attend Arts Theatre School Moscow. New York City, 1990. In 1990, she began appearing in Broadway in the very first week, and soon received high praise for her performance in Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) as well as Hedda Galer.
